An Evidence-Based Approach to Suicide Prevention with Dr. Judith Beck and Dr. Allen Miller

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and as part of our efforts to disseminate evidence-based information about mental health, we are proud to present an important talk by Beck Institute President Dr. Judith Beck and acting Executive Director Dr. Allen Miller on CBT for Suicide Prevention.

This talk provides an overview of the CBT approach to suicide ideation, including research, risk assessment, treatment planning, specific interventions, and a client example.

Previously only available to attendees of the Beck Institute Excellence Summit, we are releasing this presentation to the public because we believe this information can save lives. Please share this post widely with health and mental health professionals who come in contact with individuals who may be contemplating suicide.

Dr. Judith Beck and Dr. Allen Miller discuss an evidence-based, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) approach to suicide prevention.

If you or someone you know is contemplating suicide, please call or text 988 (in the US) for immediate help.
